Main responsibilities:
General accounting
- Ensure that the accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the company's accounting records in the central departments and comply with the country's legislation
- Ensuring timely, accurate and efficient accounting
- Ensuring the timely filing of corporate tax and other tax returns; managing VAT filings
- Preparation and management of intra-group clearing invoices (including follow-up with intra-group counterparties)
- Stock management
- Customer service and order processing / logistics coordination
Accounts receivable/credit management
- Ensuring an efficient, secure and reliable accounts receivable process, which includes the creation of due date reports, reconciliation of account statements, credit freezes and releases as well as the review and creation of customer lists
Accounts payable
- Ensure accounts payable and accruals are accounted for in accordance with company policies and procedures and supported by required documentation
- Monthly invoicing and other related matters, incoming/outgoing invoices
Payroll accounting / internal payroll accounting / payment processing
- Ensure that all staff and corporate credit cardholder claims are accounted for in accordance with company policies and procedures and supported by the required documentation
- Working with business partners on monthly reconciliation, invoicing and other related matters
- Ensuring that all payments are processed correctly and on time, including the necessary documents
Audit & Taxes
- Support in providing information / audit plans to the internal and external auditor during the audit
- Help and support with local statutory reporting
- Preparation of sales reports to ensure the accuracy of tax information
- Ensure that all tax law requirements are met
- Support and cooperation with tax advisors, internal and external auditors with regard to issues/audit requirements
Other
- General administration
Qualifications and know-how:
- At least a Bachelor's degree with a focus on accounting or equivalent professional qualification
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel
- Analytical skills
- Good communication skills, confident in using the English language
- Anyone who learns quickly and has a positive attitude is suitable for this position
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Practically minded and willing to deal with details
